Welcome to Blinky’s Illuminated Holiday, where Christmas magic comes alive! Since 2020, we’ve been creating unforgettable memories for families throughout the community. This year, we’re bringing even more sparkle to our new location at Santa Clara County Fairgrounds with over a mile of dazzling displays.

Blinky’s Drive-Thru is a magical holiday experience you can enjoy from the comfort of your car. You’ll cruise through a winter wonderland filled with dazzling light tunnels, larger-than-life displays, and festive scenes, all synchronized to your favorite holiday music. Our friendly mascot, Blinky, will be there to guide you on your adventure!
We’re excited to announce that Blinky’s Drive-Thru has a new, bigger home for the season at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds.
The event runs from November 21 through January 1. Tickets for special dates like opening weekend, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day are on sale now, with more dates opening up soon.
Tickets are sold per vehicle and are priced at $40.00 USD for specific dates. You can purchase your tickets online through our official Shopify store, or on this Link.
They are two separate, wonderful experiences! Blinky’s Drive-Thru is our ticketed, drive-through event at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. The traditional, 43-year-old walk-through event at Plaza de Cesar Chavez in Downtown San José is, and always will be, completely free for the public to enjoy.
Your ticket purchase is the spark that keeps the magic alive for everyone. Christmas in the Park is a non-profit organization, and the revenue from Blinky’s Drive-Thru is what allows us to keep our beloved downtown event free for the entire community. When you buy a ticket, you are directly supporting a cherished San José tradition.
One ticket is valid for one standard passenger vehicle. For everyone’s safety, the number of people in your car should not exceed the number of seatbelts.
To ensure the safety of all our guests and staff, everyone must remain in their vehicle for the entire duration of the drive-thru light show.
No, you do not need to print your ticket. You can present the ticket barcode on your smartphone to be scanned at the entrance.
All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and are only valid for the date and time specified during purchase. Please double-check your order before confirming.
The route typically takes about 25-30 minutes to complete, but timing can vary depending on traffic flow during peak hours.
The light show is synchronized to a dedicated radio station. You will be given the FM station to tune your car’s radio to upon entering the event.
There are no restrooms available along the drive-thru route. Please plan accordingly before you arrive.
Yes! You are welcome to bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy in your car during the experience.
The event is open, rain or shine! The lights are just as magical in the rain, so the show will go on. The seasonal staff is prepared to work in inclement weather.
Yes, pets are welcome to join the fun! Please ensure they remain inside your vehicle at all times for their safety and the safety of our staff.
One ticket covers standard passenger cars, trucks, and vans. To ensure a smooth experience for all guests, we cannot accommodate limousines, buses, RVs, or any vehicle taller than 8 feet.
No. To ensure the safety of all our guests and to keep traffic moving smoothly, everyone must remain in their vehicle for the entire duration of the drive-thru.
